Hallmark Cards has chosen FleishmanHillard’s brand marketing team as the UK agency for its Forever Friends brand.

The agency won the account after a competitive pitch and has been briefed to “reignite love” for the Forever Friends friendship bears in the UK, where they originated in the 1980s.

The team will promote the brand to mums, tapping into the nostalgic qualities of Forever Friends, and creating new brand advocates with tweens as champions for the future.

The integrated comms programme will include a mix of on and offline media exposure to reach both audiences.

The brand marketing team will deliver shareable content that aims to inspire people to celebrate friendships. The comms programme will run through 2015, in line with the brand’s recent refresh.
